Alaska Injury Prevention Center hosted the Third International Safety Media Awards (ISMA) in London in September 2010. The finalists have now been posted here.

The 4th ISMA celebration and screening of entries will take place at the 11th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion in Wellington, New Zealand, October 1-5, 2012

The purpose of the competition is to recognize excellence in safety and injury prevention messages and to share evaluation of the effectiveness of the messages. This is an opportunity to share what is being done around the world, for all of us to learn from our colleagues, and to celebrate positive media messages.
